UL 827B CERTIFIED Hackett Watch™ AI-Driven Proactive Video Monitoring
Hackett Watch adds AI-driven intelligence to the cameras you already have and works with any ONVIF camera system. It detects intrusions, weapons, vehicles and more, filters out false alerts, and puts a trained operator from our UL Certified monitoring center on the scene in real time.
Most business cameras capture everything and act on nothing. By the time someone reviews the footage, the damage is done. Hackett Watch turns your existing cameras into a proactive defense that sees threats as they happen and acts on them.
How It Works
AI-driven software watches your cameras for intrusions, guns, knives, vehicles, loitering, crowd gathering, altercations and other activity you define.
Intelligent event filtering screens out nuisance events such as animals, weather, shadows and routine activity, so operators focus on real threats.
A trained operator in Hackett's UL Certified monitoring center reviews the live video and confirms what's happening.
The operator speaks through on-site audio, notifies your contacts, and dispatches police, fire or ambulance according to your response plan.
UL 827B Every step is performed under UL 827B, the UL standard for managed video monitoring and response.
UL Certifications
Anyone can sell software that sends alerts. What matters is who is watching when the alert comes in, and how they respond.
Hackett Security is UL Certified for Managed Video Monitoring Services, the category evaluated under UL 827B, the UL standard written specifically for managed video. UL doesn't just inspect our building. It evaluates how our operators:
UL audits our monitoring center every year to confirm we still meet the standard.
Why it matters to you: UL certification can support insurance, compliance and contract requirements, and it gives your board, administrators or property owners independent proof that your monitoring meets a recognized standard.
What Hackett Watch Detects
People entering restricted areas or crossing perimeters after hours
Visible weapons flagged for immediate operator review
Unauthorized vehicles entering lots, yards or loading areas
People lingering near entrances, doors or restricted areas
Unusual groups forming in parking lots, entrances or open areas
Fights and physical confrontations flagged so operators can step in
Custom detections set up for your property
Weapon Detection
Arenas, schools and churches are built to welcome people, which makes early warning critical. Hackett Watch's AI is designed to recognize visible guns and knives on camera and send them straight to a trained operator in our UL Certified monitoring center for immediate review.
When a weapon is confirmed, every second counts. Operators can follow your response plan right away, alerting your staff and on-site security and dispatching police and emergency medical services.
Watch entrances, concourses and parking areas for weapons, crowd surges and altercations during events and after hours.
Add an extra layer of awareness for weapons, fights and loitering at entrances, hallways and grounds.
Protect your congregation without changing the welcoming feel of your space.
As Seen on FOX 2
“If it provides us with one to four minutes of advance notice while someone with a weapon is moving across the parking lot, it can significantly impact the response time of a school resource officer or a police officer.”
FOX 2 put Hackett's AI gun detection to the test with a staged demonstration, showing how alerts reach the monitoring center and connected phones the moment a weapon is detected.
